Hull KR Las Vegas rugby shirts stolen from lorry

A number of limited-edition rugby shirts made for Super League champions Hull Kingston Rovers’ match in Las Vegas next year have been stolen, the club says.

The shirts had been designed to allow supporters to match what the team will wear when they face the Leeds Rhinos at the Allegiant Stadium in February 2026.

West Yorkshire Police said the shirts, which were in boxes, were taken from a lorry on Upper Wortley Road, Leeds, in the early hours of Friday 24 October.

Hull KR said the shirts had not been made available to buy and urged anyone who is approached by resellers to contact the police.

Details of when fans can order the limited-edition shirt, priced at £53.99, will be confirmed later in November, a club spokesperson added.

Hull KR and Leeds Rhinos will meet in the second Super League game to be held in the United States.

They will play at the home of NFL side Las Vegas Raiders on 28 February.

Last month, Hull KR became only the fifth team to win a Super League Grand Final as they beat Wigan Warriors at Old Trafford to complete the treble.
