Replacement opponent? No problem.
Allan Nascimento passed his UFC Fight Night 263 test with flying colors as he submitted the always-game Cody Durden with a D’Arce choke at 3:13 of Round 2. The 130-pound catchweight bout took place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Durden did his best to defend the attempt from the Brazilian. He circled away and cage-walked, but Nascimento’s grasp proved to be too much – and thus came the tap.
Nascimento has won four fights in a row. Conversely, Durden, who took the fight on short notice, falls into a three-fight skid.
