Yadier del Valle made things looks easy in his second Octagon appearance earlier tonight (Sat., Nov. 1, 2025) at UFC Vegas 110 LIVE on ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nev., putting a surprising stop to talented lightweight prospect Isaac Dulgarian with a first-round submission (rear-naked choke).
As expected, Dulgarian was the one to initiate the wrestling and looked to score a takedown early on. Del Valle, who is a solid grappler in his own right, was able to stuff the head and defend nicely. Dulgarian went back to the well moments later, but this time del Valle was able to reverse the position and secured back control.
Dulgarian came into tonight’s event having never being finished in his professional career, but that all changed. Once del Valle got back control he quickly worked hard for the rear-naked choke. Dulgarian temporarily fought the hands, but del Valle wouldn’t be denied. He eventually got under the chin and secured the submission finish.

Del Valle, 29, is now 2-0 as a member of the UFC roster and 10-0 overall in his professional career. “The Cuban Problem” has in fact proven to be a problem at 155 pounds and should rise the ranks again his next time out.
