Ronda Rousey Completely Decimates Joe Rogan’s Legitimacy as UFC Commentator

Long-time UFC commentator Joe Rogan called all of Ronda Rousey’s fights inside the Octagon. However, it seems the women’s MMA legend doesn’t think much about his legitimacy to call a cage fight.

Outside of the many fighters that have competed inside the legendary Octagon, Joe Rogan is arguably the most beloved person to be involved with the UFC. The long-time comedian and former Fear Factor host brought something different when he joined the commentary team in 2002. Natural charisma and the sort of funny edge most sports broadcasts lacked.

However, while he had his detractors, in time, he showed he had a deep knowledge of the sport despite never competing in an MMA fight. The 58-year-old cultivated his knowledge through a lifetime of studying martial arts like Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai. But that doesn’t seem to be enough to deserve to call a UFC fight in the mind of Ronda Rousey.

Ronda Rousey knocks Joe Rogan for never being in a professional fight

During an interview with popular comedian Berk Kreischer, the former bantamweight queen was asked what it would take to make a return to the Octagon. After Rousey made it clear she had zero interest, he adjusted the idea to what it would take for her to return to the UFC to fight him. The former WWE star and occasional actress was willing to humor him on that silly idea.

When Kreischer mentioned he recently spoke to Rogan and asked him how much training he would need to beat Rousey, she had a surprising response.

“He wouldn’t know. He’s not an expert; he’s a fan with an audience. He never fought,” Rousey said.

When Kreischer said Rogan had competed in Taekwondo, she responded with a giggle and, “Never fought. That’s not fighting.”

It’s unclear if Rousey is on bad terms with the hugely popular podcaster and commentator, but she certainly does not respect his opinions about cage fighting. Many UFC fighters are likely to disagree with her.
