Hull KR assistant coach Danny Ward has left the Super League champions to move closer to his family in London.

The 45-year-old joined Willie Peters’ coaching staff for the 2024 campaign and helped them win the treble last season.

Ward, who had a spell with the Robins as a player, finished his on-field career in London and then coached the Broncos for three years between 2018 and 2021.

“It was a really tough choice, because it’s been amazing [here],” he told the club website.

“I’ve loved every second of being back at Hull KR with the staff, players and the fans. Now it’s time for a different challenge.”
