UFC 321 post-event facts: Tom Aspinall vs. Ciryl Gane title fight has historic ending

UFC 321 was not an event that will stand the test of time, even though a number of historic happenings unfolded during Saturday’s event at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

The Tom Aspinall (15-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC) vs. Ciryl Gane (13-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) heavyweight title headliner went to a no contest, while Mackenzie Dern (16-5 MMA, 11-5 UFC) picked up the vacant strawweight title with a triumph over Virna Jandiroba (22-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) in the co-main event.

Quillan Salkilld, Valter Walker, Ludovit Klein, Mateusz Rebecki earned $50,000 UFC 321 fight-night bonuses.
