Following UFC 321 last night (Sat., Oct. 25, 2025), inside Etihad Arena in the United Arab Emirates, four fighters were transported to a local hospital for precautionary reasons, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) officials confirmed to MMAmania.com.
The four names were UFC Heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall, Nasrat Haqparast, Mateusz Rebecki, and Ľudovít Klein.
Aspinall (15-3-1) was transported immediately after his no-contest against Ciryl Gane in the main event for an eye evaluation. The results are currently unknown.
With just 30 seconds left in the fight, Aspinall was poked in the eye — after looking human for the first time in his UFC career — and could not continue. It’s an unfortunate ending, but UFC CEO Dana White confirmed they plan to run it back as soon as possible. Despite the result, the 32-year-old U.K. champion remains unbeaten in his last three fights.
Haqparast (18-6) was sent to the hospital for a precautionary CT scan of his head and face after suffering one of the most brutal knockouts in recent memory (watch highlights). His scans came back negative, and he was later discharged. The 30-year-old had his impressive five-fight win streak snapped.
Rebecki (20-4) was also sent for a precautionary CT scan following his unanimous decision loss to Klein. His results have not yet been disclosed.
Klein (24-5-1) was likewise transported to the hospital for scans on his head, face, and ankle. While results are still pending, Klein revealed he broke his ankle in the third round. The 30-year-old Slovakian rebounded strongly from his first UFC main event loss to Mateusz Gamrot and is now 7-1-1 in his last nine appearances.
It’s worth noting that it is not uncommon for UFC fighters to be transported to the hospital as a precaution, especially after knockouts or three-round wars with sustained damage.
