Fabio Wardley’s heavyweight fight with Joseph Parker on 25 October will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 5 Live.

The bout at London’s O2 Arena will have significant impact on the heavyweight landscape, with the winner in prime position to challenge Oleksandr Usyk for the WBO title or pick up the belt should the Ukrainian choose to vacate.

Parker is the WBO’s number one challenger but has elected to take on Wardley and risk his position.

Radio commentary on the undercard will begin at 20:30 BST on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra, before the coverage switches to BBC Radio 5 Live from 22:00 for the main event.

There will also be live text commentary on all the build-up which will start at 20:00 on the BBC Sport website and app.

Both men are in superb form – Wardley is undefeated in 20 fights with one draw, while Parker is on a six-fight winning streak.
