This LPGA player got married at Mar-a-Lago and celebrated with Donald Trump, Elon Musk

Dani Holmqvist’s star-studded wedding on Friday to Charles Schick at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, included plenty of familiar faces. LPGA players Paula Creamer and fellow Swede Madelene Sagstrom were there to celebrate, along with their husbands, and posted photos in their gorgeous black gowns.

It’s Holmqvist’s Instagram story, however, that proved especially noteworthy as she’s shown celebrating with President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, who had son X by his side.

Holmqvist, 37, played collegiate golf at Cal and was a rookie on the LPGA in 2014. Two years ago, Holmqvist began work on her helicopter license, and while competing in Hawaii, flew herself around the island to sightsee. She’s also a level 3 sommelier.

In 2013, Holmqvist made headlines when she was bitten by an Australian Red Back spider mid-round and used a tee to extract the venom before finishing the remaining 14 holes at a pre-qualifier for the tour’s season-opening event Down Under. Holmqvist didn’t qualify, but left with the nickname “Spider Woman.”

In January, Holmqvist attended the presidential inauguration before starting the 2025 season at the Founders Cup in Bradenton, Florida, where she missed the cut, noting on Instagram that “3 unplayable shots was not ideal.”

She took off the second half of 2024 due to recurring back and nerve injuries and is playing this season on a medical.

The LPGA is in the midst of a two-week break and returns to action in Arizona for the Ford Championship. Holmqvist is listed in the field.
