Leicestershire batter Rishi Patel has signed a new two-year deal with the County Championship side.
The 26-year-old has scored 4,311 runs in 124 appearances across all formats for the Foxes since arriving from Essex in 2021.
He was part of their One-Day Cup triumph in 2023, a season in which he became the first Leicestershire player to score a century in each format in the same season.
“Rishi has proven his ability in all forms of cricket for Leicestershire and grown year-on-year to become an integral part of our squad,” director of cricket Claude Henderson told the club website.
“He’s someone who possesses the passion to reach his full potential and is a player that can step up to win matches when the going gets tough.”
