Keegan Bradley’s Full Swing quote will get you fired up for the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black

Keegan Bradley made a bold proclamation to close out the latest season of Full Swing.

To start, if you haven’t watched Full Swing Season 3, which came out Tuesday on Netflix, there are spoilers in this story.

Season 3 features seven episodes from the 2024 season in men’s professional golf, from Scottie Scheffler’s arrest to Gary Woodland’s battle with cancer and more. The closing episodes focus in on Keegan Bradley’s redemption after not being picked for the 2023 American Ryder Cup team, to his win at the BMW Championship, selection for the 2024 Presidents Cup team and pick to lead the U.S. in the 2025 Ryder Cup.

The Americans won the Presidents Cup, and how fitting it was Bradley securing the winning point for the U.S.

Netflix cameras were in the locker room celebration for Team USA, when Bradley got on the mic.

And he delivered a proclamation that will have American fans running through brick walls until the first tee shot is hit at Bethpage Black.

“I’m gonna get criticized as the captain next year. They’re gonna underestimate me, they’re gonna doubt me. I’ve been doubted my whole f—–g life. That’s when I do my best work.

“We’re gonna go to Bethpage to kick their f—–g ass.”

The scene is the final one for Season 3 of Full Swing, and it sets the stage for the Ryder Cup with a bold and confident statement about the biennial competition against Europe coming in September.

Not a bad bit of foreshadowing of what could come in Season 4 of Full Swing, either.

As for Bradley’s comments, it’s bulletin board material for the Europeans. But if the Americans aren’t fired up to play for someone who has Bradley’s intensity and passion, the entire American team needs a reset.

There are only 212 days until the first session of the Ryder Cup, and it couldn’t get here sooner.
