The Anaheim Ducks have recalled goaltender Oscar Dansk from their AHL affiliate San Diego Gulls, per the AHL’s Transactions page.

Dansk has a 10-10-3 record with a .886 SP and 3.43 GAA in 27 appearances with San Diego, he recorded his 100th career AHL win on Feb. 22 against the Bakersfield Condors.

This move is likely related to the fact that Ducks goaltender John Gibson left yesterday’s game against the Boston Bruins with an upper-body injury.

The 30-year-old Dansk last played in the NHL with the Vegas Golden Knights on Mar. 5, 2021, where he picked up a win over the San Jose Sharks.

Originally a second round pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2012, Dansk has a 4-1 record with a .906 SP and 3.10 GAA in six NHL appearances.

The Stockholm, SWE., native had a stellar season in the KHL with Spartak Moskva in 2021-22 before returning to North America and joining the Calgary Wranglers.

Dansk has a record of 100-62-25 with seven shutouts in 198 career AHL appearances.

Anaheim’s next game comes Feb. 25 against the Buffalo Sabres.
