Castleford Tigers have brought in Ben Davies on an initial two-week loan deal from St Helens.
But the Tigers will have the option to extend the loan to a full season.
Davies, 24, has played 40 games for St Helens as either a centre or a second-row since joining from Widnes Vikings in 2020.
He will be available for Castleford’s 2025 Super League opener away to Hull KR on Friday (20:00 GMT).
