Dylan Guenther impressive OT performances are officially etched into NHL history.
In Utah’s last two wins, against the Philadelphia Flyers and its most recent game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Dylan Guenther scored not one, but two consecutive overtime game-winners as the clock wound down.
He becomes only the second player in NHL history to score a goal in the final minute of overtime.
To make his performance even more impressive, Guenther not only scored in the final minute against the Flyers, but he also scored with just 0.8 seconds remaining.

Dylan Guenther has now earned 38 points (19g, 19a) through 42 games this season, giving him a career high in both goals and points.
Guenther likely would have surpassed those earlier if not for missing 12 games with a lower-body injury before his recent heroics in the last two games.
His previous career high was set last season in Arizona when he had 35 points (18g, 17a).
He joins defenseman Brett Burns, currently with the Carolina Hurricanes and also Utah’s upcoming matchup, who did it from March 11-13, 2007.
Back in 2007, a much younger Burns played for the Minnesota Wild when he scored overtime winners in back-to-back games against the Colorado Avalanche and the Vancouver Canucks.
In a twist of fate, Burns and Guenther just so happen to be playing each this Saturday.
Who will come out with the win—Utah or Carolina? Can Guenther extend his streak to three games? Let me know in the comments below!
