UFC 312 is down a fight.
Just prior to the start of Friday’s official weigh-ins in Sydney, commentator Jon Anik broke the news that the scheduled opening prelim between HyunSung Park and Nyamjargal Tumendemberel has been canceled.
UFC 312 (pay-per-view, ESPN2/Disney+, ESPN+) takes place Saturday at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney and will continue with 12 fights.
Tumendemberel (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) weight issues were to blame for the cancellation. Neither he, nor Park (8-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) weighed in. It’s unclear what the promotion’s next move for either man is.
With the change, the UFC 312 lineup now includes:
