If you were among the dozens who swore LiAngelo Ball would some day make it to the court of an NBA All-Star Game, well, you can at least say you were partially correct.

The Ball family’s middle child, currently embarking on a music career, will perform on All-Star Saturday night as part of the festivities at the Chase Center in San Francisco, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

The performance will come a month after Ball signed a deal with Def Jam and Universal Music Group paying him up to $13 million, with $8 million guaranteed. His song “Tweaker” was released on WorldstarHipHop’s YouTube page on Jan. 3 and has since received more than 14 million views.

A music video was released last week, garnering more than 5 million views, and a remix featuring Lil Wayne came out Thursday.

It won’t be the first time Ball has performed at an event, as he made an untelevised appearance at the Detroit Lions’ divisional-round game against the Washington Commanders after the Lions played his song in the locker room to celebrate their division title.

Unlike his older brother, Lonzo, and younger brother, LaMelo, LiAngelo Ball has never appeared in an NBA game. He was a three-star recruit in high school and followed Lonzo to UCLA, but he was suspended after an alleged theft during a trip to China and left the team before he was reinstated. Whereas his brothers were both top-three picks in their respective NBA drafts, Ball went undrafted in 2018.

Since then, Ball has played in his father’s quickly defunct Junior Basketball Association, appeared in 31 games with the G League Greensboro Swarm and made a brief appearance in Mexico’s CIBACOPA last year.

LaMelo Ball was one of the more notable snubs from the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, missing out on the event despite a career year and the most fan votes in the Eastern Conference. He made the game in 2022, though. Lonzo Ball has never been an All-Star but was selected for two Rising Stars Challenges early in his career, though he missed both due to injuries.
