(Updated, 5:15 p.m. ET) What is it about names for professional sports teams in Utah? In basketball, they have the Jazz, and in hockey, they could have had a name that means frozen penis.
Because of trademark issues, the Utah Hockey Club could not use ‘Yeti’ as its nickname because of the cup company. It’s interesting that a team that is so far from the Cup gets scuttled once again by a company that makes cups.

Anyway, the three they had up for a fan vote are:
Whatever Wasatch means, the team made an announcement right at our time of publishing that after listening to feedback and analyzing survey data from Wednesday, it’s clear Outlaws should be included in the vote instead of Wasatch.
