Bailey, 29, has spent all of this season down in the AHL with the San Jose Barracuda, posting seven goals and 14 points in 33 games. This is after he had five goals, 14 points, and 76 hits in 59 games with the Sharks last season.
Bailey spent the end of the 2018-19 season with the Flyers organization after being acquired by the Sabres. In 11 games with the Flyers, he had one assist, five blocks, and nine hits. He also appeared in 17 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, recording six goals and eight points.
Bailey will now provide the Ducks with another potential call-up option for their bottom six. In 141 career NHL games split between the Sabres, Flyers, Vancouver Canucks, and Sharks, he has 10 goals and 23 points.
