EFL: Form Guide

After the latest round of EFL action, check out the Top 5 most in-form teams across the Championship, League One and League Two.

MK Dons

Last 6 Games: Won 6 (18 Points)

League Position = 7th (League Two)

Summary: Despite having another game postponed at the weekend, MK Dons are statistically the most in-form team across the EFL having won their past six league games. Whilst currently sat in the last play-off place, with two games in hand against most of the sides around them they will be confident of moving into the automatic promotion places if they can maintain their current form.

Huddersfield Town

Last 6 Games: Won 5, Drawn 1 (16 Points)

League Position = 4th (League One)

Summary: The Terriers continued their impressive recent form as a 2-1 away victory at Mansfield Town made in four consecutive victories and extended their unbeaten league run to nine games as they cemented their position in the play-off places.

Wrexham

Last 6 Games: Won 5, Lost 1 (15 Points)

League Position = 2nd (League One)

Summary: Wrexham made in four straight league wins with a battling 1-0 victory over Burton Albion at the weekend to maintain their position in the automatic promotion places in what is fast becoming a highly competitive battle for promotion. Could the team from North Wales make it an unprecedented third straight promotion?

Wycombe Wanderers

Last 6 Games: Won 4, Drawn 2 (14 points)

League Position = 1st (League One)

Summary: The third team from League One to make the Top 5 in the EFL Form Guide table which just shows how competitive a league it is. The Chairboys have drawn their last two league games, however they still top the division and are very much in the promotion hunt.

Sheffield Utd

Last 6 Games: Won 4, Drawn 2 (14 points)

League Position = 1st (Championship)

Summary: The Blades returned to the top of the Championship table with a hard-fought 2-2 draw away to West Brom. It is currently looking like a 4 way battle for the two automatic promotion places and given Sheffield Utd’s form so far this term you wouldn’t bet against them making an immediate return to the Premier League.
