Key Games

Ipswich Town (17th) vs Everton (16th)

A big game at the foot of the table as Ipswich Town host Everton at Portman Road. The Tractor Boys are still looking for their first league win of the season and will be keen to bounce back after their 4-1 defeat versus West Ham in their last outing. Everton are unbeaten in their past 3 league games, picking up 5 points in the process to lift themselves out of the relegation zone.

The Toffees are winless in their last 14 league away games, however they are unbeaten in their past 5 games versus promoted sides and will be confident of at least travelling back to Mereyside with a point. If Ipswich are the get anything from this game, they will look towards Liam Delap who has scored 4 goals in his last 5 league games.

Our analysis indicates that Everton are slight favorites for this match with a 39.5% chance of victory, however the best bet points towards the draw with a likelihood of 28.7% of the game ending in a stalemate.

Sports Alert News Prediction: Ipswich 2-2 Everton

Liverpool (1st) vs Chelsea (4th)

A huge match-up as league leaders Liverpool host a resurgent Chelsea at Anfield. In what is expected to be one of the tightest title battles in recent memory, the Reds will be aiming to keep the pressure on their nearest rivals and put a dent in an unlikely title tilt from the Blues with victory.

Liverpool have the meanest defence in the league, having conceded only 2 goals so far this season whilst also keeping the most clean sheets with 5. However, Chelsea have scored 16 league goals this season which is second only to Man City and with an in-form Cole Palmer in the side, they have every chance of coming away from Merseyside with a result.

Over recent seasons, the Reds hold the advantage in this match-up with only 2 defeats in their previous 19 games versus Chelsea. We don’t expect that to change in this game with our analysts giving Liverpool a 58.5% chance of victory.

Sports Alert News Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Chelsea
