Jalin Turner's UFC comeback announced vs. violent lightweight staple

Jalin Turner is officially back.

At UFC 323, Turner (14-9 MMA, 7-6 UFC) will make his return to the cage after un-retiring when he faces Edson Barboza (24-13 MMA, 18-13 UFC) in a three-round lightweight bout. The card takes place Dec. 6 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The promotion announced the bout Wednesday, along with another new addition: Iwo Baraniewski (6-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) vs. Ibo Aslan (14-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC) at light heavyweight.

Turner retired following his March loss to Ignacio Bahamondes, but recently indicated his comeback was official after his name reappeared on the UFC’s active roster. Turner, 30, aims to snap a two-fight skid and get back on track, having lost four of his most recent five outings.
