The 2025 Baycurrent Classic, formerly known as the Zozo Championship on the PGA Tour, is the lone event on the schedule in Japan. The now seven-year-old tournament continues Saturday (Friday night for those watching in the U.S.) at Yokohama Country Club in Yokohama, Japan.
After 36 holes, last year’s runner-up has built a four-shot lead, three guys are tied for second and the defending champion is in a four-way tie sitting five shots back.
There tournament has just 78 players and if you’re looking for information on the 36-hole cut, well, there isn’t one for this event. Everyone in the field makes the weekend.

Where to watch, follow the 2025 Baycurrent Classic
There is no ESPN+ coverage this week of the Baycurrent Classic, nor is there coverage on Sirius XM PGA Tour Radio. The only way to follow along with the event is on Golf Channel, which has four hours of coverage each day.
The third-round live telecast starts at 11 p.m. ET on Friday and goes till 3 a.m. ET on Saturday. Japan is 14 hours ahead of ET.
What happened in the second round?
Alex Smalley and defending champion Nico Echavarria showed the way early with 65s to move into contention. Schauffele and Max Greyserman carded 63s but no one went lower than Keith Mitchell, who posted 62. Greyserman continued his exceptional play in Japan, claiming the 36-hole lead at 12-under 130. Where is the 2025 Baycurrent Classic being played?
The Zozo Championship was held at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club. Starting in 2025, the event will be played at Yokohama Country Club, which was redesigned by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw in 2015. The par-71, 7,315-yard golf course first opened in 1960. It has 36 holes and the Baycurrent will be played using a routing combining 16 holes from the West Course and two holes from the East Course.
