Highlights! Dusko Todorovic closes out ‘Prelims’ undercard with suffocating choke | Noche UFC 3

Dusko Todorovic returned to the UFC win column earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 13, 2025) LIVE on ESPN+ from inside Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Tex., ending hard-nosed middleweight, Jose Medina, with a dominant first-round submission (rear-naked choke).

Todorovic, 31, came into Saturday’s “Prelims” headliner as a large betting favorite, but it was still going to be a tough night for the middleweight fighter. That’s because Medina has proven to be super durable and if Todorovic wasn’t able to get the job done early his cardio may have been an issue.

Luckily for Todorovic, he didn’t have to find out. After slicing up Medina’s right eye with a nice right hand on the feet Todorovic followed up with a timely takedown. From there, he quickly moved to take back control and lock up a tight rear-naked choke. Medina fought for a few seconds before giving in and tapping out.

Check out the video highlights below:

Todorovic, who came into tonight’s matchup riding a three-fight losing streak, is not known for his grappling skills. In fact, this is his first submission win as a member of the UFC roster and his first overall since 2017. We’ll see if this victory leads to a potential win streak for the resurgent middleweight.
