Yorkshire have signed former India batter Mayank Agarwal until the end of the season.

The 34-year-old opener played in 21 Tests for India and scored four centuries, averaging 41.33.

He will join up with the squad for the County Championship game against Somerset at Taunton on Monday and will remain available for the remainder of the 2025 season.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mayank to Yorkshire,” Gavin Hamilton, Yorkshire’s general manager of cricket, told the club website.

“His record in first-class cricket is impressive and as we enter this last stage of the summer, his presence will add depth and experience to our line-up.”
