After not feeling well enough to participate in morning skate, Nashville Predators starting goalie Juuse Saros was ruled out of Friday’s game against the Buffalo Sabres, the team announced.
To compensate, the Predators called Milwaukee Admirals goalie Matt Murray up from the AHL to serve as Justus Annunen’s understudy against the Sabres.
Annunen, 24, is 6-2-0 with a 2.65 GAA and a .914 save percentage since coming to Nashville in a trade with the Colorado Avalanche.
Saros has been deemed day-to-day with an illness, the Predators announced.
