Former UFC champion Israel Adesanya (24-4-0) will face Nassourdine Imavov (15-4-0) on Saturday for UFC Fight Night 250 in Saudia Arabia. Adesanya is coming off of back-to-back title losses to Sean Strickland and Dricus Du Plessis and though this weekend’s middleweight match is not a title bout, he could certainly use the win.
“Just because there’s not a belt on the line, I don’t want to diminish this fight like it’s not important,” Adesanya stated during the event’s media day earlier this week. A win this weekend for France’s Imavov would give him four wins in a row. You can tune into UFC Fight Night early prelims at 9 a.m. ET and the main fight card at 12 p.m. on ESPN+.
