After the PGA Tour finishes up back-to-back weeks in Hawaii on Sunday, it’ll head to the desert of California for the American Express at PGA West.
The tournament is played on three golf courses: Pete Dye Stadium Course, La Quinta Country Club and the Nicklaus Tournament Course in La Quinta, California.
There are dozens of Tour stars slated to tee it up come Thursday morning including Sam Burns, Patrick Cantlay, Jason Day, Tony Finau, Rickie Fowler, Sungjae Im, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Cameron Young and Will Zalatoris.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler was originally in the field, but withdrew as he recovers from an injury he suffered in his kitchen at Christmas.
Nick Dunlap, the event’s defending champion, was an amateur when he hoisted the hardware, but returns as a pro and two-time winner on Tour (Barracuda Championship).
The total purse is $8.5 million with the winner taking home $1.53 million and 500 FedEx Cup points.
Here’s the complete field for next week’s American Express.
