Forwards Nicolas Roy and Ivan Barbashev have been upgraded to full contact at the Vegas Golden Knights’ practice.
The two forwards are key figures to the Golden Knights for different reasons. Roy is as versatile as they come. He can play as a winger or as a centre and up or down the lineup. Barbashev has been a mainstay on Jack Eichel’s left wing and is on pace to set career high’s in goals and points despite missing the past nine games.
The Golden Knights are in action tonight as they host the New York Islanders but the line rushes at today’s practice indicate that Roy and Barbashev will be out for at least one more game.
Roy and Barbashev did not take part in line rushes. Group looks to be the same:

After tonight’s game, the Golden Knights will host the New York Rangers on Saturday night. No confirmation has been given quite yet if they will return but the recent status update is a very positive and encouraging sign.
