The conclusion to Tennis Scotland’s season – a domestic version of the ATP Finals – is to be shown live by BBC Scotland from Scotstoun Community Indoor Tennis Centre in Glasgow.

The men’s and women’s finals from the Tennis Scotland Open Tour Finals will be broadcast on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app on Tuesday, 17 December as well as one match from each event’s semi-finals.

There will also be highlights shown from Monday’s first round and quarter-finals as 16 men and 16 women compete over two days.

Those taking part have been playing in 17 leaderboard events around Scotland since January.

Last year’s winners were Hamish Stewart – the 25-year-old currently ranked 570 in the world – and 18-year-old Hannah Rylatt, who is number 290 in juniors.

Defending champion Stewart is the number one seed in the men’s event

Second seed Ewen Lumsden has already teamed up with former world number 44 Jonny O’Mara to take the men’s doubles title, while Stirling-based Hephzibah Oluwadare and fellow leading junior Marelie Raath clinched the women’s trophy.

Emma Wilson tops the women’s seedings, ahead of Francesa Simpson and Summer Yardley, who lost her first round match to Teodora Prisadnikova.

Semi-final action at the TS Open Tour Finals will get under way on Tuesday at 09:30 GMT, with spectators also able to attend both competition days free of charge.
