‘Shut the f—k up!’ — Feisty Dana White defends lackluster UFC Vegas 110 card | Video

The next two UFC events seem to be lacking some serious star power, but Dana White is instructing fans to “shut the f—k up” about it until the fights actually play out.

Last weekend was supposed to be a smashing success for the promotion as UFC 321’s pay-per-view (PPV) card unfolded from Abu Dhabi, UAE, but a main event clash between heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall and top contender Ciryl Gane went up in flames due to some eye pokes (see HERE). The incident ruined anything good about UFC 321 and left fight fans wanting much, much more.

That brings us to this weekend’s UFC Vegas 110 event from Las Vegas, Nevada. While the card features some fun fights and interesting matchups, there’s really nothing to write home about. The main event between featherweights Steve Garcia and David Onama should be a banger, but casual fans probably don’t even know who either fighter is. Mix in an underwhelming undercard and it’s hard to get excited about UFC’s return to “Sin City.”

Unfortunately, the same can be said about next weekend’s card in Vegas. That will be an event aired on ESPN with a headlining act between welterweights Gabriel Bonfim and Randy Brown. Once again, both fighters are capable of putting on a great performance, but it’s not a matchup fight fans needed to see atop an entire card. UFC Vegas 111 packs a little more punch on the undercard, but still a so-so event overall.

White, who stayed in Abu Dhabi this week to see Power Slap 17 play out Friday night, recently joined MMA personality, Nina Drama, for a fan Q&A and was asked why the next two UFC cards are slacking. In typical fashion, White shut the request down and told the fan to “shut the f—k up.”

“How is it bad when it hasn’t even happened yet?” asked White. “Shut the f— up!”
