Daniel Frunza vs. Charles Radtke UFC Vegas 110 preview
Frunza (9-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) aims to secure his first victory in the UFC. The Dana White’s Contender Series veteran made his debut in April, but a doctor’s stoppage ended the fight after the opening round. That result snapped an all-finish, five-fight winning streak.
Radtke (10-5 MMA, 3-2 UFC) also looks to get back into the win column after a second-round TKO loss against Mike Malott at UFC 315 in May. In the fight prior, Radtke stopped Matthew Semelsberger in just 51 seconds.
Daniel Frunza vs. Charles Radtke UFC Vegas 110 expert pick, prediction
Filling out the main card is a potential welterweight war between Charles Radtke and Daniel Frunza.
Although Radtke may hold a quiet edge in the grappling department due to his wrestling ability and the stable of high-level MMA grapplers he trains with, like Belal Muhammad and Brendan Allen, both men traditionally prefer to get things done on their feet.
Frunza has shown some promising glimpses standing, and I suspect his bodywork will serve him very well in this contest should he smartly go to it, but I ultimately suspect that Radtke’s athleticism and patented left hook will get the better of exchanges here.
Though part of me hopes we see more of each fighter’s skills regardless of the result, I suspect that Radtke gets it done in the first frame by knockout.
