Kent all-rounder Ekansh Singh has signed a new three-year contract with the club.
The 19-year-old has made 22 appearances across all formats since his first senior game against Somerset in the 2024 One-Day Cup.
Singh made his red-ball debut in Kent’s County Championship Division Two defeat by Glamorgan in May this year and hit his highest score of 71 against Derbyshire last month.
“I was extremely proud to make my first-class debut for my boyhood club this year but this is just the start for me,” he said.
“I hope to learn a lot from the more experienced guys here as I work to secure a first-team place in all formats going forward.”
Singh, who came through Kent’s academy, has made six first-class appearances and 13 in 50-over cricket.
He has scored 256 runs at an average of 28.44, as well as taking one wicket, in red-ball cricket.
In List A, he has claimed four wickets and scored 312 runs at an average of 26.00.
