PGA Tour Q School First Stage is complete but the road to a 2026 tour card is far from over

All 14 First Stage sites for the PGA Tour’s 2025 Q School are now in the books. Those advancing have about six weeks or so to get ready for Second Stage but there’s still Final Stage after that, so the grind continues for many.

When it’s all said and done, only five golfers will earn a 2026 PGA Tour card through Q School.

Get the lowdown from the most recent six First Stage tournaments that were held Oct. 21-24. Those six came on the heels of eight First Stage events held earlier this month.

Final Stage for 2025 Q School will be at TPC Sawgrass Dye’s Valley and Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Dec. 11-14. When it’s all said and done, only the top five finishers will earn a 2026 PGA Tour card. If there’s a tie for fifth after 72 holes at Final Stage, a sudden-death playoff will determine the fifth spot. Finishers 6 through 40 will earn Korn Ferry Tour status for 2026.
