We’ve hit the midway point of the season officially and fantasy football managers will have to endure four teams on bye in Week 9 — the Eagles, Bucs, Jets and Browns. There are a few decent defenses among that group, so you may be in need of a replacement streamer for Week 9. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with a few D/ST options via Justin Boone’s weekly fantasy football waiver wire column.

Rams vs. Saints: Los Angeles is coming off its bye week and should be well-rested for a layup contest vs. New Orleans. The Rams had posted double-digit fantasy points in back-to-back games prior to the bye and the Saints just allowed the Bucs D/ST to drop 26 FP in Week 8.

Jaguars at Raiders: Both teams are coming off bye weeks. The Jags should be the hungrier team coming off back-to-back losses and Raiders QB Geno Smith has been a turnover machine. Jacksonville’s defense started the season hot with at least eight fantasy points in four straight games.
Ravens at Dolphins: This unit has struggled all season but should start to get healthier. The Ravens limited a decent Bears offense to just 16 points in Week 8, which is encouraging. Plus, the Dolphins are surrendering the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing D/STs this season.
