Quillan Salkilld delivered one of the most violent head kick knockouts you’ll ever see earlier today (Sat., Oct. 25, 2025) at UFC 321 LIVE on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, UAE, stopping lightweight veteran Nasrat Haqparast with a vicious first-round finish.
This fight was made on just 10 days notice, but both lightweights entered Saturday’s “Prelims” headliner in pretty good shape. Haqparast looked to get off to an early lead with some crisp boxing. Salkilld is pretty savvy on his feet as well so he was more than comfortable striking back.
It looked like fight fans were in for a true 155-pound barn burner, but Salkilld quickly changed things up when he uncorked a ridiculous right head kick that slammed into Haqparast’s head. Haqparast immediately went limp before violently crashing to the canvas twitching. It was a scary scene to say the least considering it took Haqparast a few minutes to finally come to.

Salkilld, 25, couldn’t have asked for a better outing on short notice as he pushed his UFC record to 3-0. The talented lightweight is trying to climb the ranks in the most talent-rich division in the sport, but with performances like this one — and against a durable veteran like Haqparast — Salkilld will have no problem getting a bigger fight his next time out.
