UFC 321 will proceed with one fewer bout.

The lightweight matchup between Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady and Matheus Camilo will no longer take place at Saturday’s pay-per-view event at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. MMA Junkie confirmed the cancellation with two sources following a first report from Eurosport NL.

Al-Selwady (15-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC), a Dana White’s Contender Series veteran, was scheduled for his sophomore UFC appearance. The 30-year-old lost his debut by TKO against Loik Radzhabov last March. Since then, he has experienced multiple fight bookings fall apart.

“It’s written, and I will not question it,” Al-Selwady wrote on Facebook. “All I know is I was fully prepared, best camp of my career, on weight and ready to go, it couldn’t have gone any better and Allah didn’t have it planned for me. Inshallah it will all be cleared soon, do not ask me because I myself don’t know. Maktoub”

Camilo (9-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) will not receive a replacement opponent on such short notice, just hours before weigh-ins scheduled to take place Friday morning. He, too, was set for his second UFC appearance, also aiming to bounce back from a debut loss, which came by submission against Gabe Green in May.

With the change, the UFC 321 lineup includes:

  • Tom Aspinall vs. Ciryl Gane – for heavyweight title
  • Virna Jandiroba vs. Mackenzie Dern – for vacant women’s strawweight title
  • Mario Bautista vs. Umar Nurmagomedov
  • Jailton Almeida vs. Alexander Volkov
  • Azamat Murzakanov vs. Aleksandar Rakic
  • Hamdy Abdelwahab vs. Chris Barnett
  • Ikram Aliskerov vs. JunYong Park
  • Azat Maksum vs. Mitch Raposo
  • Jaqueline Amorim vs. Mizuki Inoue
  • Ludovit Klein vs. Mateusz Rebecki
  • Jose Delgado vs. Nathaniel Wood
  • Louie Sutherland vs. Valter Walker
  • Nasrat Haqparast vs. Quillan Salkilld
