Virna Jandiroba has been tearing through the UFC women’s strawweight division in recent years.
In April at UFC 314, the Brazilian contender topped an impressive five-fight winning streak by defeating former UFC title challenger Yan Xiaonan in a dominant unanimous decision win. The victory furthered Jandiroba’s stance as the No. 1 contender in the division.

Jandiroba (22-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) returns to the cage Saturday in the UFC 321 co-main event at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. She takes on Mackenzie Dern (15-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC) for the vacant UFC women’s strawweight title. The bout is a rematch: Dern bea Jandiroba by unanimous decision in 2020.
