ONE Championship’s final card of 2025 features two title fights and a slew of good bouts on the undercard.
Now it’ll be getting one more.
ONE Championship has confirmed to The Sporting News that lightweight mixed martial arts prospects Lucas Gabriel and Magomed Akaev will also be competing on December 5th, in Bangkok, Thailand at ONE Fight Night 38.
Curitiba’s 25-year-old Lucas ‘Sinister’ Gabriel is undefeated in six years, including a hot 3-0 (1 NC) start in his tenure with ONE.

All three of those wins came over Russian or West Asian fighters who have the typical combat sambo base of that region.
Two of those were against Dagestanis, so Gabriel will try to keep his success going when he fights Akaev.
Magomed Akaev was undefeated, but his first bout in ONE back in June was a closely contested split decision loss, one which he believes he won, so he will be hungry for a win when he faces Gabriel.

The bout will be on the undercard of that ONE Fight Night 38 card, headlined by Fabricio Andrade seeking another defense of his ONE bantamweight MMA championship against Mongolian contender Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu.
The second title fight, in the co-main event, is Digio Reis vs Daiki Yonekura for the vacant flyweight submission grappling title.
Also featured on the card are two legends: Liam Harrison for kickboxing against Shinji Suzuki, and Marcelo Garcia, who is arguably the greatest ever in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, against top talent Lachlan Giles.
