Highlights! Tom Aspinall’s training partner and former UFC vet scores 13th title defense

“And Still” is on an iconic run.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Phil De Fries successfully defended his Heavyweight title for the 13th time against Stefan Vojcak in the main event of KSW 111 last weekend (Sat., Oct. 18, 2025) inside Werk Arena in Trinec, Czech Republic.

After dominating for most of the opening round, De Fries got clipped by a left hook in the final minute, and Vojcak swarmed. The champion, however, survived the onslaught, recovered quickly, and returned to work in round two — using his signature grappling to control and punish Vojcak on the mat.

By the third round, Vojcak appeared gassed. De Fries poured on the pressure, secured full mount, and finished the fight with just over a minute left — marking a monumental 13th consecutive title defense.

Watch the full fight below (commentary in Polish):

What De Fries has accomplished since going 2-3 in the UFC and being released is nothing short of remarkable. The British powerhouse has reinvented himself as one of the best Heavyweights in the world — and he just so happens to be UFC champion Tom Aspinall’s main training partner.

De Fries is currently riding a 16-fight win streak, with 14 of those bouts being KSW title fights. Even more impressive, 11 of those wins have come via stoppage, and five have been against former UFC fighters.
