We’re into Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season, which has aptly been dubbed “bye-mageddon” since six teams won’t be playing (Cardinals, Raiders, Seahawks, Rams, Jaguars, Lions). A good percent of fantasy football managers will be looking to stream a defense in Week 8. Below are some good options to consider based on Justin Boone’s weekly fantasy football waiver wire column.

Colts vs. Titans: This one is pretty straightforward. Indy gets an easy matchup against the worst offense in the NFL. Rookie QB Cam Ward has turned the ball over and has been sacked at least four times in 5-of-7 games this season.

Falcons vs. Dolphins: Miami is a mess and could be down TE Darren Waller. Meanwhile, Atlanta has been decent at forcing turnovers with six picks this season.

Bills vs. Panthers: Carolina is expected to start Andy Dalton at QB with Bryce Young dealing with a high ankle sprain. Buffalo is coming off its bye week and should be well-rested and available in more leagues than usual.

Bengals vs. Jets: Here’s another team that’s in shambles that we’re going to pick on. New York has issues at QB and we don’t know if Tyrod Taylor will fully take over for Justin Fields. Either way, it sets up nicely for Cincy, which forced Aaron Rodgers into a few turnovers last Thursday night.

Buccaneers vs. Saints: New Orleans has only scored 20+ points twice in seven games this season. The Tampa Bay defensive front is among the best at rushing the passer, entering MNF in Week 7 with 16 sacks in six games.
