Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans will make his return to the field during the team’s Week 7 game against the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.

Evans missed the last three games with a hamstring injury suffered in a Week 3 29-27 win over the New York Jets. The Bucs are 2-1 in Evans’ absence, all while being plagued by injuries at the position. In three games this year, Evans has 14 receptions for 140 yards and a touchdown.

Rookie wideout Emeka Egbuka will also play on Monday night against the Lions despite also dealing with a hamstring injury. It was thought he might miss time with the injury, but he is reported as being good to go for this NFC showdown, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

In his first six NFL games, Egbuka has caught 27 passes for 469 yards and five touchdowns.

The Bucs went from potentially having their top three wide receivers out to having two of the three active for MNF. Veteran wide receiver Chris Godwin is inactive for Monday night’s game with a fibula injury. Godwin began the season on injured reserve due to a dislocated ankle suffered last season.

So far this season, despite the injuries, Tampa Bay is off to a 5-1 start, sitting atop the NFC. The Bucs will look to keep that good fortune going in Detroit against the Lions at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
