Eagles elevate 1 player for Sunday's game against Vikings
MINNEAPOLIS — The Eagles on Saturday elevated tight end E.J. Jenkins for their Week 7 game against the Vikings in Minnesota.
This is the first elevation for Jenkins (6-6, 245) this season and he’ll make his 2025 debut on Sunday. Players are allowed to be elevated a maximum of three times per season.
In 2024, Jenkins played in 12 total games for the Eagles — 8 in the regular season and all 4 playoff games.
The Eagles are entering this game without second-string tight end Grant Calcaterra (oblique), who was ruled out on Friday. This will be his second missed game.
At tight end, the Eagles will have Dallas Goedert, Kylen Granson, Cameron Latu and Jenkins. In addition to providing depth at tight end, Jenkins will contribute on special teams.
While the Eagles elevated Jenkins on Saturday, they did not sign anyone else to their 53-man roster. So they’ll go into this game with 52 and Jenkins before naming inactives tomorrow morning.
The Vikings on Saturday activated OLB Tyler Batty and LB Blake Cashman from Injured Reserve.
