The race for the semi-finals at the World Cup in India and Sri Lanka is taking shape.
One team has already qualified with the battle for a top-four finish continuing below.
Here’s what the teams need to keep their hopes of glory alive…
*top four qualify for the semi-finals with first playing fourth and second facing third.
Who has qualified for the last four?
Defending champions Australia became the first team to qualify for the knockout stages with their victory on Thursday.
They sit top of the table on nine points and although England, South Africa, India and New Zealand can all match that number, the fact the co-hosts and the White Ferns meet next week means all four cannot overhaul Australia.

What do England need to reach semi-finals?
England have a tough finish to the group stage with matches against India, Australia and New Zealand to come.
Helpfully, they only need one win from those matches to guarantee a place in the semi-finals.

What about the rest?
South Africa are well-placed to reach the semi-finals.
Two wins in their remaining three matches against Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Australia would be enough to secure a top-four finish while one may well be enough.
India, who have only four points after four games, need three wins from matches against England, New Zealand and Bangladesh to guarantee their progression.
Two would likely be enough, especially if one of those is against New Zealand.
Similarly, the White Ferns will go through with three wins – they play Pakistan, India and England – and while two victories could be enough, it is less certain.
Bangladesh need to win their remaining games against Sri Lanka and India and hope results go their way.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka’s best hope is to win all of their matches and await the other results.
The Colombo weather could yet further dent their chances.
