UFC Fight Night 261 on Saturday didn’t have an overwhelming amount of star power below the top trio of fights, but some new stars may have been made in Brazil, nonetheless.
UFC Rio started on fire, proverbially speaking, for the home fans. They got six stoppages in the seven fights on the prelims, and Brazilian fighters won the first six bouts of the night. Things settled down a bit on the main card, but when there are nine stoppages in a dozen fights, there’s little room to complain.
In the headliner, Charles Oliveira extended some of his UFC records with yet another submission win – taking him to 18-0 all time in his home country, and 7-0 in the UFC.
Check out all the stoppages from UFC Rio in the video above.
