Danill Donchenko brought Season 33 of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series to an end Saturday when he battered Rodrigo Sezinando at UFC Fight Night 259.
After their matchup was delayed from UFC 319 in August, Donchenko (12-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) proved he was the best welterweight from his season when he bloodied then put away Sezinando (8-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) with a first-round TKO in the opening bout at Noche UFC from Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.

With the win, Donchenko joins flyweight winner Joseph Morales as the two fighters to emerge from “TUF 33,” which was coached by Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen.
“I’m not surprised, I work here,” Donchenko said in his post-fight interview with Daniel Cormier. “I’m here not just to win the fight, I’m here to show my blood and the blood of my opponents. I promise I will fight like this every time.
