Jauan Jennings reportedly a game-time decision in Week 2 49ers-Saints matchup
The Faithful will have to hold its breath a little longer.
49ers receiver Jauan Jennings is a game-time decision for San Francisco’s Week 2 matchup against the New Orleans Saints on Saturday, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported Saturday.
#49ers WR Jauan Jennings, suffering from a shoulder injury, is considered to be a game-time decision, source said. There is optimism he goes. But he’ll workout pregame to see.

The 28-year-old suffered a shoulder injury late in San Francisco’s Week 1 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Jennings, who was considered day-to-day throughout the week, finished with just two receptions for 16 yards at Lumen Field.
With star tight end George Kittle placed on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury and Jennings’ availability on Sunday up in the air, the 49ers signed Kendrick Bourne, who spent four seasons with the franchise from 2017 to 2020, to a one-year contract.
Unlike Kittle and quarterback Brock Purdy, who will also be unavailable against the Saints, Jennings seemingly has avoided any long-term concern.
The question remains whether Jennings will take the field at Caesars Superdome or not.
