Saquon Barkley takes top spot on NFL Top 100 list
Go ahead and add one last accolade to Saquon Barkley’s incredible 2024 season.
He was voted the No. 1 player in the NFL.
In the annual NFL Top 100 Players list, voted on by players, Barkley took the top spot heading into the 2025 season.
Barkley’s 2024 season was an all-timer. He became just the ninth player in NFL history to surpass 2,000 rushing yards in a season. And then in the playoffs, he was able to break the single-season record for rushing in a regular season and postseason combined.
Barkley, 28, ended up with 2,504 rushing yards in 20 games last season and had 2,857 scrimmage yards.
In his incredible first season with the Eagles, Barkley was a Pro Bowler, an All-Pro, finished third in MVP voting, was named Offensive Player of the Year, got the cover of Madden 26 and has been named No. 1 in this poll.
Oh yeah, and Barkley became a Super Bowl champion when the Eagles crushed the Chiefs in New Orleans. In fact, the 2024 Eagles ended up with 10 players on the list.
Just one of them (Josh Sweat) has departed. The 2025 team is extremely talented as well:
95. Josh Sweat
69. Jordan Mailata
60. Cooper DeJean
49. Quinyon Mitchell
43. Jalen Carter
29. A.J. Brown
26. Zack Baun
23. Lane Johnson
19. Jalen Hurts
