Billy Elekana and Kevin Christian will face off in a light heavyweight showdown at UFC’s upcoming Fight Night card at the APEX on Nov. 1, MMA Fighting has learned.
The promotion has yet to reveal the headlining attraction for the card.
Elekana (8-2) enters the cage just over three months after defeating Ibo Aslan via decision in Abu Dhabi, his first octagon win after losing to Bogdan Guskov as a replacement for Johnny Walker in his UFC 311 debut.
A Tuff-N-Uff: champion as an amateur, the Las Vegas resident won twice under the PFL banner in 2023, a pair of decisions over Tristan Overvig and Chuck Campbell.
Christian (9-3) makes his first walk to the UFC cage 13 months after earning a contract with a second-round submission over Francesco Mazzeo at Dana White’s Contender Series in September of 2024.
The 30-year-old Brazilian fighter is riding a six-fight winning streak dating back to 2017, a 100 percent finishing rate with four first-round stoppages.
