Schenn arrived in Winnipeg and was picked up from the airport by Mark Scheifele. Arniel said the 35-year-old will make his Jets debut on Tuesday but wouldn’t say who will exit the lineup in place for him.

In 62 games with the Nashville Predators, Schenn recorded a goal and five points. He’s a two-time Stanley Cup champion with 1057 games of NHL experience, as well as 47 games of playoff experience.

Namestnikov was hit up high during Sunday’s game, drawing a penalty on the play. He left the game in the third period, but Arniel believes he is fine and the issue is about his nose, rather than his head.

Kupari is currently dealing with a concussion but skated today during the Jets’ optional practice. He is on the cusp of returning to the lineup according to Arniel.

The Jets will host the New York Rangers tomorrow night after returning from a four-game road trip.
