Seattle Kraken Recall Tye Kartye And Cale Fleury

The Seattle Kraken announced they have recalled forward Tye Kartye and defenseman Cale Fleury

Kartye was sent to the AHL on a conditioning loan last week and recorded two goals and two assists in three games. He has played in 49 games for the Kraken this season and recorded seven points, averaging just 9:48 of time on ice per game.

The 23-year-old has 27 points in 126 career NHL games.

Fleury has recorded one assist in seven games with Seattle and 24 points in 36 games with the Firebirds this season.

The 26-year-old has three points in 70 career NHL games and 127 points in 255 career AHL games.

The Calgary, Alta., native was an AHL All-Star this season and lead all defensemen in points in the Calder Cup Playoffs last season.

This move likely corresponds to the big trade Seattle made yesterday, sending forwards Oliver Bjorkstrand and Yanni Gourde to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
